This module provides a short, yet intensive introduction into the law against unfair competition in the EU and the USA.
As such it provides an overview of the rationale and supplementary role of unfair competition law to intellectual and industrial property law (trademarks, copyright, design and patent law).
The seminar comprises lectures, assignments, and a mock trial exercise.
