View mapOn December 3rd, 2021, Jerome De Cooman will present his research on the temporality of technological innovation.
His presentation challenges the boundaries of legal science and innovation with two hypotheses. First, new technologies do not always raise new legal issues. Second, we should focus on technological change rather than discussing new technologies. To develop these arguments, Jerome will analyse two use cases, i.e. the parallel between cyberspace and outer space law, and between bioethics and the ethics of artificial intelligence.
This presentation will take place as a media session during the third edition of Trier University’s Interdisciplinary PhD Conference “Pushing Boundaries” (DocColloq).
The poster of this presentation is available on ORBI.
