CAPPUYNS Patricia

Patricia Cappuyns is specialized in patent and trademark law, as well as the interface of intellectual property and competition law. She has an international practice that covers both litigation and advisory work.

Patricia has over 12 years of experience as an intellectual property partner and associate in three international law firms, including a UK magic circle firm.

Patricia Cappuyns is a member of the Bars of Brussels and New York. She is affiliated with UK law firm Olswang LLP in an Of Counsel position.

She is currently working in the following areas:

• patent work in the food, pharma and mechanical fields,
• trademark work in the field of fast-moving consumer goods, including toys and power tools,
• advisory work on the interface of intellectual property and competition law in mobile communications technology.

Patricia was educated at the KU Leuven in Belgium, King’s College London in the UK and New York University in the USA.
